Port Au Prince

Port Au Prince airport is a fairly daunting place even on a good day. Add in 16+ bags and 2 groups from 3 different states coming together for the June clinic and you've got something. Our own Dr. Bracken and Mark Marshall arrived on the ground first. Dr. Pat Pletke is a physician from Pennsylvania and is returning to Haiti for the third time. She met up with THB and Mark for the final leg to Port Au Prince.  The next 10 days will be fairly productive for this group.  Dr Kress (JP) from Chicago is bringing several people with him from the University of Chicago Medical Center. He was instrumental in providing for patients after the earthquake. The last time he was in Haiti he had a tent on the hill . Would love to see the look on his face when he sees the building and exam rooms.  They have been well supplied with the donations that have come in. We want to thank everyone one who took the time to donate for this trip.I hope and pray that the weather and rain will not worsen the spread of Cholera in Santo, but if it does our crew is there. Please take a moment and wish them well, post an encouraging note or send up a little prayer. They are an amazing group to take this trip.
