Planning

When ever I tell someone about Haiti I get anxious to go back. The packing and sorting of medication starts. The army bags get pulled out of the attic. Mark stocks up on Gatorade and permetherin.  With the recent flooding from Hurricane Isaac there may be out breaks of cholera to contend with. Do you make room in the bag for IV fluids or hope that oral replacement is enough?  Each time we get ready for a trip I am asked if we are making a difference. The kids are looking like they are better nourished each time we go. It could be the medication we give them at each visit to get rid them of intestinal parasites. It could have something to do with the vitamins that each child receives at their visit. It makes a difference to them.
