Miracle

There was a miracle today, it happened in Haiti. It won't be on the evening news. It may only be known about by a dozen people, but it is a miracle. A dedicated group of Doctors flew to Haiti yesterday with a mission to save a life. And they were successful! I can't begin to explain how difficult the obstacles were to overcome. We can't thank all of the people that it took to make it happen. A 10 year old girl with a foreign body lodged in her bronchial tube will breathe easier tonight. She will have had the best care that the University of Chicago Medical team has to offer. They took the time and jumped through numerous hoops to make it happen. They were able to work with a local hospital to "get the job done". What an amazing group of specialists comprised of Dr. JP.Kress, Dr. Fuad Baroody, Dr. Mark Slidell, and Dr. Patrick Jean Gilles. Thank you for your efforts. Thank you for your success today. It is a miracle for this small child who would not have survived without your dedication.
