There are times that I wonder just how much to "sugar coat" some of my posts. When this girls life hung in the balance, I prayed. Hoping that it would be either a peaceful death that we don't talk about or just something that happens here in Haiti that we learn to deal with. In hind sight I should not have doubted the tenacity of Dr. Kress. J.P. brought a team including a Pediatric Thoracic Surgeon and the equipment needed to get the medal out of this child's bronchial tube. These are both feats of determination because nothing comes easy in Haiti. Mark Marshall was able to secure a spot in the hospital to have it removed. Not an easy removal but in the end they were successful. This is a picture of their reunion. Have you ever made a difference in some one's life? It happens here, sometimes unnoticed-but if you happen to be the one.... it makes all the difference in the world.
