The streets are clear and much cleaner than the last trip. Vendors are selling water, food and clothing on the corners. The patients line up and sing in the morning under the shade of the shelters in front of the clinic.
Every trip people ask me if it is getting any better. I have to say it is, but it is still the most humbling place I have ever seen. The poverty is over whelming and the patients are grateful for our time, medicine and a place to go. Thank you to everyone that makes this clinic possible.
